it's cotton, it's every color, this playful, beautiful rug is in a whole different league from the very "serious" area rugs that dominate the market. I love that it's hand-braided and is a colorful goodness. I mopped my hardwood floor, laid down a non-slip rug pad, and rolled out my carpet. Glorious. At first there were some bumps and lumps from being rolled up, but I just walked around on them and pulled on the edges of the rug and the bumps flattened right out. I'm thrilled :)

We got this to put under our dining table, and I couldnt be more in love! Its even more perfect than I expected. Beautiful weaving and coloring.

Nice throw rug
