Pretty much exactly as pictured. Its soft and colorful in my living room. My kids will play board games on the floor now instead of trying to balance them on the couch (because theyd rather just not play than clean off their craft table - sigh). Vacuuming hasnt damaged it, but I havent tried washing it yet. Its a rag rug, so it looks like a distinct possibility that ends of strings and fabric strips would start to fray over time.

This rug is exactly as describedA definite good buy!

I LOVE this rug. It is a great weight. It doesn't slide on the tile or vinyl so I dont plan to use a rug pad but I do have some rug corners ordered to hold the corners down a little. The door opens easily across it and our chairs move easily over them. It curls a little on the edges but the weight and style of the rug outweighs that annoyance. I probably won't vacuum it but will use a floor attachment when I need to. We have ordered and returned several rugs and were thinking we would never find the right one. We now have two! 3x5 and 5x8. We just love it.
