This rug is everything I wanted, and really makes the room feel comfortable and nice. It was such a good price too, much cheaper than the other popular rug purveyors we were considering. I love that it's a natural fiber and color.As you can see in the pics, it mostly lays nice and flat, and has a clean edge to it. It came rolled, and still has a slightly upturned edge from the inner end of the roll. We just stuck that end under the couch legs, but if the curl was a problem I bet we could flatten it out with some heavy books or by laying it on its reverse side for a while.Very happy with the look, and it feels nice on bare feet. I gave both sides a good vacuuming upon delivery, and it hasn't seemed to shed at all since then. We've been using it for about a week.My cat went at it once, but so far hasn't gotten into scratching it as much as he did with the wool carpet we had previously.I hope it lasts for years, and would happily buy again.

Seller was gracious and completely accommodating when I changed my mind before my former choice was shipped. The rug I got is beautiful--its warm colors brought my room to life and made it cozy. It is even prettier than it seemed online. (Even my mother-in-law loved it!) A thousand thanks to the weaver! The shipping was very quick--it was fun watching it go from Jaipur to Delhi, to Cologne, to St. Louis and then Chicago.
